01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

Located along Yotsume-dori right across from Kinshi Park, Sukiya is an easy stop for a beef bowl after time in the park or between errands. The dining room offers both counter seating and booths, each equipped with a tabletop touch panel so you can take your time browsing the menu. Service is brisk from order to table, making it practical whether you want to eat in without delay or grab a quick takeaway.

The core attraction is gyudon (simmered beef over rice), available in standard regular portions or adapted with an extensive lineup of toppings. Choices include the rich Melted 3-Cheese Gyudon, the Negitama Gyudon finished with chopped green onions and an onsen egg, and the refreshing Oroshi Ponzu Gyudon topped with grated daikon and citrus soy sauce. Lighter options are also on hand, such as Gyudon Light, which swaps the rice base for tofu and salad greens, as well as meal salads topped with chicken.

Menu options shift neatly across the clock. The morning menu features affordable sets like the Mazenokke breakfast—topped with okra and a soft-poached egg—alongside grilled salmon sets. Midday brings gyudon lunch sets paired with salad and miso soup, while evenings and late nights cater to heartier cravings with curry and gyusara (beef plate) sets. Operating continuously from 4:00 in the morning until 3:00 the following morning, it reliably accommodates everything from early-morning meals to late-night dinners.
